Privacy Policy — MFP Business Center Mobile

This Privacy Policy describes how the MFP Business Center Mobile application (the "App", Google Play package com.MyFundraisingPlace.BusinessCenterMobile) accesses, collects, uses, and shares information. The App is developed and published by Inspired Tech LLC ("Inspired Tech", "we", "us", "our"), the developer listed on the App's Google Play store listing.

Effective Date: June 1, 2026

About this App and who it is for

Inspired Tech LLC develops and publishes the MFP Business Center Mobile App for the My Fundraising Place platform ("My Fundraising Place"). My Fundraising Place is operated separately; the App is a client that connects to the My Fundraising Place service so that fundraising coordinators and business users can manage their fundraising operations on the go.

The App is a business tool intended for use by authorized My Fundraising Place coordinators and business users. It is not directed to the general public or to children. Inspired Tech is committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and security of the Personal Data handled through the App. We do not and will not sell, trade, or rent your Personal Data.

Information We Collect & How We Use It

The information handled through the App falls into the following categories:

Account and sign-in information

To use the App you sign in with your existing My Fundraising Place / FRPilot credentials (username and password). Your password is transmitted securely to verify your identity and is never stored on your device. Upon successful sign-in we issue a time-limited session token, which is stored in your device's encrypted secure storage (the Android Keystore-backed encrypted preferences, or the iOS Keychain). Your username is stored in standard app preferences so you don't have to re-type it.

Business records you manage in the App

The App lets you view, create, and update business and fundraising records on behalf of your organization. Depending on what you enter, this may include Personal Data about your contacts and groups, such as:

  • First and last names, company, and title
  • Email addresses and email-preference flags (e.g., "do not email")
  • Phone numbers
  • Mailing and physical addresses
  • Descriptions, notes, and related fundraising, group, and activity/scheduling details

This information belongs to your My Fundraising Place account and is stored on the My Fundraising Place backend. The App reads and writes it on your behalf to provide the service. Access is scoped to your organization, so users can only access records belonging to their own account.

App settings stored on your device

The App stores limited, non-sensitive settings locally on your device, such as your selected service environment and your default state code. The App does not maintain an offline copy of your contacts, groups, activities, or fundraisers.

Information collected automatically

When the App communicates with our servers, our backend automatically processes standard technical data such as your IP address, request metadata, and diagnostic and error logs. We use this information to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

We use the information described above to:

  • Authenticate you and maintain your signed-in session;
  • Provide the App's functionality (managing contacts, groups, activities, and fundraisers);
  • Secure the service, including rate limiting, account lockout, and abuse prevention; and
  • Diagnose technical issues and improve performance and reliability.

How We Share and Disclose Information

We do not sell your Personal Data. We share or disclose information only as follows:

  • With the My Fundraising Place platform — the App is a client that reads and writes your records to the My Fundraising Place service in order to provide its functionality.
  • With service providers that host and support the service on our behalf, including Microsoft Azure (cloud hosting) and Azure Application Insights (server-side diagnostics and performance monitoring).
  • To prevent prohibited or illegal activities; or
  • When required by applicable law, rule, regulation, subpoena, or other legal process.

Inspired Tech reserves the right (and you authorize Inspired Tech) to disclose information when Inspired Tech determines, in its sole discretion, that the disclosure is necessary or appropriate for the purposes described above.

Analytics, Telemetry, and Tracking

The mobile App itself does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs, and does not track your behavior or location. Our backend API uses Microsoft Azure Application Insights together with server logs to collect operational metrics — such as request performance and errors — so that we can keep the service reliable. This telemetry is used for operating and securing the service; it is not combined with advertising identifiers and is not used for advertising.

Do Not Track Signals — the App does not respond to "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser or device settings.

Device Permissions

The App requests only the permissions it needs to communicate with the service over the network (internet access and network-state access). The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, device contacts, photos, calendar, or other sensitive device data.

Third-Party Services

The App does not process payments and does not integrate third-party payment, mapping, advertising, or social-login SDKs. The App is hosted on Microsoft Azure and uses Azure Application Insights for diagnostics, as described above.

Certain features of the My Fundraising Place platform that the App connects to may rely on third-party providers (for example, for payment processing, tax, shipping, and email). Those provider relationships are governed by the My Fundraising Place Privacy Policy.

How We Protect Your Information

We have implemented technical security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access and use. Communication between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Your session token is stored in your device's encrypted secure storage, and your password is never stored on the device. Access to records is isolated to your organization, and we apply protections such as account lockout and rate limiting to help prevent abuse. We review our security procedures regularly to consider new technologies and methods to further protect your information.

Data Retention

Business and account records accessed through the App are retained on the My Fundraising Place backend for as long as needed to provide the service and as governed by your My Fundraising Place account. Server-side diagnostic logs are retained for a limited period and then rotated out. You can request deletion of Personal Data as described in the California Privacy Rights and Contact Us sections below.

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

Our intention is to adhere to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). The App is a business tool intended for use by adults — authorized fundraising coordinators and business users — and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data directly from children under the age of 13.

If you believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided us with Personal Data through the App, please contact us using the method described in the Contact Us section below, and we will delete the information. We will not use it for any purpose except where required by applicable laws, regulations, or standards.

California Privacy Rights

Inspired Tech complies with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). The purposes for which we collect your information, the type of information we collect, and our practices and policies regarding your information are described in this Privacy Policy. As a California consumer, you have the following choices regarding our use of your personal information:

Exercising the right to know

You can request that we disclose the personal information that we have collected about you. You also have a right to request information about the categories of personal information collected, the reasons why this personal information was collected, and the categories of sources of personal information.

Exercising the right to delete

You can request that we delete the personal information that we have collected from you. This is subject to certain exceptions under applicable law and exceptions related to the transaction for which the personal information was submitted.

Exercising the right to opt out from a sale

We do not sell Personal Data as defined by the CCPA, and we have not done so in the past 12 months.

Non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

To submit a request to exercise any of your California consumer rights described above, please contact us using the method described in the Contact Us section. Please note that to delete specific pieces of personal information we will need to verify your identity to the degree of certainty required by law.
